Dear Sirs/Madams
Sudbury & District AGM and Presentation on Cost-of-Living Crisis
I am writing on behalf of the Chairman of the Board and Trustees of Sudbury & District Citizens Advice to Invite you to our AGM and a presentation of our experience of the cost-of-living crisis. This will be our first in person AGM since 2019 and we are looking forward to welcoming members, elected representatives, members of the public and the press.
Our publicity for social media is below.
The AGM will be held in the Hills Room at Gainsborough House, 46 Gainsborough Street, Sudbury, CO10 2EU on Wednesday, 12 October 2022 at 2.00 pm where the refurbishment has been recently completed.
Following the formal business of the meeting, and an opportunity for a cup of tea, the Chairman will make a presentation on the trends we are experiencing in the welfare of our communities as they face into the storm of the cost-of-living crisis. For some it is genuinely a case of heat or eat and we want to give you some facts from the front line.
We very much appreciate the support of District, County, Town and Parish Councils for Sudbury & District Citizens Advice. This is a chance to give you some details on our work and how we are seeing the landscape of people’s issues.
We also attach a copy of our Notice for the AGM and would be grateful if you could please put this on your notice board so that we may reach as much of the community as we can in respect of this very important issue.
Please let me know if you are able to attend and thanks again for your support.
With Best Wishes
Karen Pinnock
Clerk to the Trustees
