Village Location

Located on the Shotley Peninsula (the south east of Ipswich), Shotley Parish is a collection of villages: Shotley Gate, Shotley Street and Old Shotley.
The B1456 runs from Ipswich under the Orwell bridge alongside the River Orwell and continues down to the River Stour at Shotley Gate.
The surrounding countryside is mainly farm land with a mix of arable and livestock.
