Overlooking the River Stour, the Bristol Arms is set on the tip of the Shotley Peninsula and is a wondeful place to watch the gorgeous sunsets, see the continental ferries and cruise ships slip harbour or just gaze at the serene scenery.
The Bristol Arms offers fresh-cooked food, lunch and evenings, great beers, wines and guest ales in a typical English pub atmosphere.
Great for an intimate chat, or a lively night out when live music or open mic night is on.
Ideally placed for lunch before or after a walk along the front where you may visit the Shotley Heritage Park or wander along to see the HMS Ganges museum and Shotley Marina.
Normal opening times:
We welcome you to The Shipwreck Pub & Restaurant, which is situated on Shotley Marina along with HMS Ganges Museum. We are situated in a beautiful and unrivalled location. An oasis of tranquillity surrounded by boats, ships, rivers and the sea.
Our lawn area, with seating for up to 200, leads directly down to the River Stour where you can while away the time watching the yachts leaving and entering our lock. There is also plenty of parking available.
We are open all day every day from 10am selling a great choice of coffees, homemade cakes, real ales, lagers & wines alongside our exciting home-made breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. Click on website link below for menus and other event details.
