The Shotley Parish Council has two allotment sites in the village, Bull Fields and Coopers Close (one near Shotley Church and the other on The Street). The cost of annual rent varies depending on the size of the plot but a full size plot is currently £15 a year. Plots that become vacant are allocated on a first come, first served basis so if you are considering putting your green fingers to the test, please contact me via email on Parish.Clerk@shotleyparishcouncil.org or on 01473 788248 so that your details can be added to the Waiting List. We are happy to take you on a tour should you wish to have a look first, which would be a good opportunity for you to meet our allotment wardens, Mr Barrie Powell and Mr Dave Hazelwood. Please note that the plot rents are payable annually in advance. |
