A new pop up library service will be trialled at Shotley Village Hall starting next Monday, April 10.
An experienced library team will be on hand between 1pm and 5pm, every Monday when people will be able to browse and borrow from a selection of books, attend a range of activities for all age groups and use IT facilities for research.
There will also be a range of activities aimed at families, older people and jobseekers, depending on need.
The initiative, which is funded by Suffolk County Council and led by Suffolk Libraries, will be trialled in Shotley, Red Lodge and Moreton Hall for six months and organisers are currently talking to residents to ensure the service will meet their needs.
