SHOTLEY PARISH COUNCIL

 

Tenders are invited for Contracts to be awarded for the forthcoming three year period subject to year three contract performance review and interim annual contract review.

 

Contracts to commence July 1st 2016 to June 30th 2019

Contract 1

 Bin emptying

 

  • To weekly inspect and empty nine bins (seven waste / two dog waste) that need emptying and place collected bagged waste into large bins provided, which are emptied fortnightly on a Wednesday

 

  • To deep clean litter bins once every quarter

 

 

  • To report any fly tipping to the Clerk

 

 

 

 

 

Contract 2

 Litter picking in the Shotley Gate area

 

  • To litter pick weekly along all the roads and public spaces in the Shotley Gate area, between the bottom of Bristol Hill and the Shotley Primary School gates, which includes:

a)     Footpath alongside the B1456 between Great Harlings and the Primary School

b)    Great Harlings

c)     Tudor Close

d)    Link Road

e)     Kirkton Close

f)     Estuary Road

g)    Lower Harlings

h)    Stourside

i)      Ganges Road

j)      Blake Avenue

k)    Kitchener way

l)      The Lloyd Road playarea, including tennis courts

m)   Whinney Queech

n)    Kirkton Close green

  • o)    Green adjacent to Kitchener way

p)    Bristol Hill

q)    Stour footpath at the bottom of Bristol Hill

 

  • To place all bagged litter collected into the large bins provided, which are emptied fortnightly on a Wednesday

 

  • To report any fly tipping to the Clerk

 

 

Contract 3

Opening, locking and cleaning the public conveniences on Bristol Hill

 

  • To open and lock the public conveniences on Bristol Hill every day (with the exception of Christmas day)

 

  • To thoroughly clean the public conveniences (schedule of cleaning to be provided upon application)

 

  • To replace soap and toilet roll as necessary

 

  • To organise the supply and storage  of consumables

 

  • To report any matters pertaining to the public conveniences and outside of the cleaner’s remit to the Parish Clerk
