How can we help you?
The scheme aims to provide a variety of help in rural communities and is manned by a team of local volunteers (all members and volunteers are CRB checked). Help can be provided for transport, small domestic jobs, collection of prescriptions, pensions, letter writing and befriending, and more. Help is available for all ages; if possible forty-eight hours' notice would be appreciated. A small mileage fee will be charged to cover volunteer's fuel costs. If you require help or know of someone who does, please ring the helpline on 07799 873881. If you are worried about the cost of phoning a mobile phone we can ring you back immediately to discuss your requirements. The scheme is supported by Suffolk ACRE.
