Shotley Peninsula Cycling Campaign

Shotley Peninsula Cycling Campaign

Shotley Peninsula Cycle Club logo

The Shotley Peninsula Cycling Campaign was set up in 2010 to improve and increase the amount of cycling on the Shotley peninsula by making it easier and safer.

Their aim is to create a safe off-road community path for cyclists, walkers, and wheelchair users between the Shotley Peninsula and Ipswich, and linking the villages on the peninsula.

This is an ambitious project which we are planning to tackle in stages. The first stage is the main “spine” of the network which will run largely along the route of the B1456 between Shotley Gate and Bourne Bridge on the edge of Ipswich.
